Installation of the LWW program

The LWW program comes in an installation package, which contains all necessary components to be installed. This is done by unzipping the Package.zip file and running the Setup program. The LWW program can be installed to any folder chosen in the course of the intalltion procedure (by default to C:\Program Files\LWW). In this procedure both the symmetric and asymmetric versions of the program are installed. The installation procedure creates also the LWW.chm (compiled-html) Help file in the same folder where the LWW program is installed. This program can be opened independently of the LWW program as well as from its Help menu (or by pressing F1).

This installation creates all necessary links to the registry file. Once this is done, further updates can be done simply by replacing older versions of the program/help files by newer ones.

NOTE: For a correct function of the program it is necessary to have the decimal separator set to the '.' (dot) character, not to ',' (comma). This setting is done from Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Customize command.

System Requirements

• Operating Systems:
  Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11.
• Computer:
  PC with Intel, AMD or compatible processor.
  
• Recommendation:
  The program is with great advantage run on computers equipped with a dual-head graphic card with two monitors connected. This enables expanding the window of the LW program over both monitors, so that individual windows are not hidden one under another.
